Progress. How do we measure progress? Most often this is done by using a financial metric so that we set salary goals, income goals, or profitability goals! The difficulty with these measures is that they ignore measures that are quite often more critical to an individual. What about family goals, education goals, travel goals, or many other life goals that lead to lifelong learning, experiences, and making a contribution to your community. The measure often used in the charitable world to assess contributions are time, talent, and treasure. A great deal of success is achieved using the time and talent as it is these factors that use the funds wisely and effectively to move towards the key goals. As you develop your goals focus on those that make your life a learning experience that allows you to make progress while helping others!
" Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success. "
- Henry Ford
