Stand out. Whenever I speak to entrepreneurs I always ask them the question - "How do you stand out among the crowd?" I often get puzzled looks in return and some guesses as to what the appropriate answer might be. As we grow up we sometimes wonder about this and incorrectly assume that you have to be really smart, well educated, lucky, and generally some form of genius to be able to stand out. The first thing I will point out is that many of the entrepreneurial billionaires did not get well educated and certainly did not plan to end up where we see them today. What they did was to - " just stand up!". That is, they got out of their chairs and made things happen. They took risks, tried new ideas, learned through trial and error, and built businesses that I am sure put many of them into shock. We all have this same potential - just get up and do it. If all of us stand up just think where Bermuda can be in one year! So this week stand up and act!
