Expectations. Each of us establishes our own expectations as to what we wish to achieve and what we want our futures to be. I have learned that the bigger we make our expectation the better results we will see. Consider for a minute what happens to you when you set a low bar for your expectations so that you avoid disappointment. When you do this you may very well meet the expectation but find yourself dissatisfied that you did not aim higher, stretch further, and go for the stars. Setting high expectations does not in and of itself lead to disappointment but rather demonstrates that you can achieve more and then reset your goals to go ever further. So when defining your expectations for anything try to pick those that you make you use your skills, knowledge and personal experiences to make an even greater difference in your life and in those of others.
