Words. The words we use in our communications are very important. In fact the words directly impact on your level of success. To me the worst examples are the times you feel that another person has actually swallowed a dictionary! These are the people who use large and unusual words that many of us are not certain we understand. This usually leaves us losing focus and not really listening or understanding. When you communicate use small words, keep it simple and easy to understand, and always read it back to yourself. It should be clear and concise and always use action verbs that motivate people to do something. If you are not always certain have another person review the material and make suggestions. Use these ideas and your message will always be heard.
