Limits. Have you ever taken notice of the various limits that either our
community or even those that we put on ourselves. Whether or not it is a
speed limit, a sale that limits you to one item per person, or some other
measure these obstacles seem to become part of everyday life. The challenge is
to ensure that these limits do not, in fact, become part of your processes so
that whatever you try and do you put limits on yourself and what you can
achieve. You do not want these limits to become a self-fulfilling prophecy
that puts constraints on your thinking as you work to solve problems or create
new opportunities. So make a list of the "limits" that you seem to apply to
yourself and make a conscious effort to remove these from your thinking. You
will be amazed at how much more you accomplish.
" We are born into a vast room whose walls consist of a thousand doors of
possibility. Each door is flung open to the world outside, and the room is
filled with light and noise. We close some of the doors deliberately,
sometimes with fear, sometimes with calm certainty. Others seem to close by
themselves, some so quietly that we do not even notice."
