Headlines. We seem to have evolved to a “headline mentality”. Text messaging in the codes that are used is a form of headline. News on line focuses on headlines to get our attention. Everything is done to attract our focus and take it away from what we really should be doing – advertising uses forms of headlines to grab our interest and have us look at their product or service. It is always about instant something! When we talk about a simpler time we look back when there was much less connectivity – calling your Grandmother on Christmas or Easter not several times a day. It is certainly not sending messages at the rate of a few a minute to stay in constant contact. So my challenge to you today is to have each of you to write a ‘headline” for you - describe the impact you have on other people in a headline. Enjoy the challenge.
