Profits. Over the past year as we have worked our way through the recession
profits have, in many instances, disappeared. This has been reflected in lower
stock market values, tight credit, and tough times for small business. Profits
are the "grease" of capitalism and, when managed in tandem with cash flow,
provide the small business owner with the fuel they need to succeed. It is
imperative for all small business owners as well as individuals to work
diligently to reduce their costs, and enhance their profit - be it profit in a
business or savings in a family. It is also critical to turn these profits
into cash so that you can take advantage of the new opportunities as the
economy starts its recovery. Focus on your profits to move ahead.
" Profit is a by-product of work; happiness is its chief product. "
