Nature. We had the good fortune last Friday evening to share a boating experience with good friends. We also had a business associate visiting from Toronto. We were in the Harrington Sound (an inland salt water large body of water with only one outlet to the ocean – by the Aquarium for those of you who have been in Bermuda). We eventually dropped anchor by an island in the sound and proceeded to stand chest deep while enjoying a refreshment and a beautiful evening. We saw two spotted rays, a turtle, and lots of fish. As it darkened into a star-studded sky we were even able to see two satellites as they passed overhead. It was magical and was a real break from the buzz of a busy world. What can you do to “escape” the hubbub?
" Must be out-of-doors enough to get experience of wholesome reality, as a ballast to thought and sentiment. Health requires this relaxation, this aimless life. "
- Henry David Thoreau
