Transitions. Our family has one of us that turns the big "40" this week. As a parent this transition reminds us that we too are adding numbers to our age while looking back at of the many events that have shaped our family’s journey. These birthdays are a gentle reminder that life flows constantly and that it is up to us to take advantage of our opportunities to share and to learn from each other. As I write this I can think of the many little things you witness as your children grow up and take on the responsibilities of family and community. It is a pleasure to think of these things and to think of the other great experiences that await as we move forward. Happy Birthday Matt.
