Christmas. We will celebrate a different kind of Christmas this year. First we will have three days in the jungle in Amazonas, north of Manaus in Brazil. This should be an incredible experience. Then we board a small cruise ship for a two-week trip including a 1,000-mile trip down the Amazon to the Atlantic Ocean. Our Christmas will be spent at Devil's Island (recall Papillion - the movie) and New Years at sea returning from the Caribbean to Ft. Lauderdale. We will miss the children but we will make many new friends, see many new places, and experience several cultures that will be very different. We want to take this opportunity to thank all who have helped us in 2008 and to those who, as friends and colleagues, make our lives a whole lot better. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very successful 2009. Notwithstanding the current challenges keep in mind that the world you create is up to you!
