A Special Day. Today is Bastille Day – a special day in France. However, our special day is our eldest grandson turning 10! Many of you will recall when he was born and what a special little lad he was to our family. He is even more special now as he matures and learns about our world. In fact, he is now teaching me things (like how to use a Wii!) and playing tennis with me and basketball with his Gram! What a marvellous privilege to be part of his life (and his sister's) and watch him develop into such a great person. Rian – you are very special and I love watching you grow up. I would suggest that all of you who read this take a moment and reflect on the great impact that our children and our grandchildren have on our lives. How very lucky are we!
