Midsummer. The early part of August has many communities having a celebration of some sort to provide for a summer long weekend and a chance to have some summer fun. In Bermuda this is called Cup Match and this has the East End of the island playing the West End in a two-day game of cricket. It is really our form of Carnival! It creates a great opportunity to have fun with friends and family as well as meet new people. What will you be doing over your long summer weekend regardless of where you live? Take advantage to do things you love to do with the people you love to do it with.
