Observe. How often do
you take the time to observe what is going on around you? In our
busy world we often forget to take a moment and just look! Whether
it be the ocean, a mountain, a child playing, a raindrop on your
window; when did you last step back and just look? There are so
many great things to see and to learn from in our world. For all
of the difficulties we have many blessings and we should take advantage
of them as often as we can. Karen and I were at our home in Nova
Scotia for a few days a couple of weeks ago. One of pleasures is
to sit by our picture window and look out on the Bay as we drink
our coffee. What amazing things you can see - a pair of grey herons,
kingfishers, small animals, and the sea. What a peaceful and wondrous
few moments that leads to reflection and comfort. What have you
observed in the past week that does the same for you?
