Friends. Several weeks ago we lost a very good friend who passed away while waiting for a lung transplant. This person approached his illness with the same energy and determination that he used in all aspects of his life. As a person who inspired others and who always lent a helping hand he continued to support others even though he was in a difficult battle himself. I would like all of us to think of our good friends and tell them how they inspire you and give you confidence. Friends like this are one of life's great gifts - we need to take advantage of these gifts - they are precious and give meaning to our lives.
